Niall Robertson, from Jones Lang LaSalle’s Glasgow office, has been named one of the UK’s top sustainability stars.
Robertson, who is part of the Buildings and Construction team, has been listed as one of 50 up and coming talents in the green sector by Building Magazine.
His inclusion as one of few Scots to make the list recognises how, in his role as a Chartered Building Surveyor, he is part of the next generation of people putting sustainability at the core of their work.
Individuals were nominated by leading figures in the field, before the UK’s premier construction publication narrowed it down to a final 50.
Robertson, speaking of his accolade, said: “I am pleased that my focus on ‘green’ building and refurbishment has been recognised and rewarded through inclusion in Building Magazine’s prestigious list.
“Using my accreditations in LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) and RICS Ska Ratings I endeavour to help companies achieve the business benefits of greener, healthier buildings which can improve productivity and staff wellbeing.
“As a Chartered Building Surveyor I can also deliver practical, cost effective solutions that embed sustainability into the design.”
In his role within the Buildings and Construction team, Robertson provides advice to commercial clients on shopping centres, offices and industrial buildings, working with the likes of Standard Life and Scottish Widows Investment Partnership.
